ReStore is Habitat for Humanity’s non-profit home improvement donation center offering new and slightly used furniture, home accessories, building materials and appliances to the public at lower than market value. All proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity and are used to build homes, communities and hope. Habitat ReStore has close to over 1,000 outlets in the world.
In 1991, the first Habitat for Humanity ReStore was launched in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and in September 1992, the first ReStore in the United States opened its doors in Austin, Texas. Since then, ReStores have expanded to more than 840 stores in the U.S. and a growing number of stores internationally. The Philippines opened the first ReStore in Asia on September 5th, 2015.
Our inventory varies from week to week, but generally includes appliances, cabinets, furniture, lighting and plumbing fixtures, hardware, roofing, carpet, tools, lumber, flooring, and residential building material. Depending on condition, most items are marked at 30%-70% off regular market value.
We have dedicated staff who are able to help you load your items. We also have proper equipment to help with the loading. You may also leave your items with us for up to five business days until the items are ready for pick up.
Unfortunately, we do not accept any type of clothing. We may, however, recommend you to other organizations that accept clothing as a form of donation. Small household items have to be screened by Habitat ReStore staff.
You may drop off donations during normal operating hours. We also accept donations on Tuesdays from 9am to 5pm. Please notify customer service staff and we will be happy to assist you with your items. Our staff will also provide you with a acknowledgement form. Donations of awkward and/or heavy items may require an appointment for drop-off.
All proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity Philippines and provide unrestricted funds to help build homes for Filipino families who currently live in inadequate and substandard conditions. Habitat seeks to put God's love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope.
If your donation fits in your car, we ask you drop off your items as our pickup service is limited to pre-approved items that are too large for standard vehicles. If you have a move-out deadline, please plan ahead so we can make sure we can accommodate you.
There are many ways your business can help! Whether it's donating your unwanted office equipment or overstocked goods or coordinating a ReStore donation drive.
